Journey is a solo-journaling game of character exploration. You are the Poet Laureate of the generational ship, UNS Resolve. During the first two weeks outside of humanity's cradle, you will use the Haibun form to process what you are experiencing and feeling through memory and hope.

All you'll need to play is 1d6 and the printed game. There is room alloted on each page for writing when printed out, or you can choose to read the .pdf and use your own journal pages. The game includes character creation and 14 days of interconnected prompts.

↑ My play log.

Your game has allowed me to envision my journey into the future with new eyes.

I also found the haiku on these themes very refreshing. I realized that I still need to learn more.

Thank you !!!!

Your creative work is beautiful! I especially loved the very first one--that idea of playing in our dreams gave me goosebumps. And your art is so warm and evocative. I love them all!

This is super cool! Angel and I met on a poetry site, so I'm pretty knowledgeable about poetry, but had never heard of haibun or haikai before! I was really captivated by the prompts in this game, and here's an example: my second prompt piece.

Desperate schism
Teamwork slips through fingertips
Subtraction freedom

Collaboration is a double-edged blade. Encouragement and anxiety clash. Impatience grows strong while calm grows weak. Frustration is high when I'm left high and dry, and anxiety runs rampant when I can't reign myself in and focus. When the end comes, one way or another, relief is weightier than pride.
